The AR-1 is a new North Sails design for the Beetle Cat class, developed for the new Ida Lewis Yacht Club fleet. Our designers have optimized this sail shape and layout using the same design tools as are used with all of the classes we produce sails for. The AR-1 is built to the maximum area with a layout that helps spread out shape far more effectively.

Our NPC range of sailcloth is a quality-leading dacron sailcloth available. North Sails offer traditional cross-cut sails and a patented warp-oriented non-laminated polyester material suitable for radial panel construction. Designed and constructed to the North Sail quality standards, sails cut from NPC are well suited for a range of sailing from cruising to one design racing.
